MobiledgeX SDK Demo App How-To​

Features​

  • Display world map showing MobiledgeX cloudlets where the app's backend is running.

Building instructions​

Building of SDK demo app requires the following:

  1. EdgeXR android SDK package in a local Maven repo(https://github.com/edgexr/edge-cloud-sdk-android)
  2. Valid Google Maps API key in android/MobiledgeXSDKDemo/app/src/release/res/values/google_maps_api.xml

To build just simply Build->Make Project(Ctrl+F9) After the build completes, Generate APK(generating a debug apk is sufficient since we are loading it directly onto a phone): Build->Build Bundle(s)/APK(s)->Build APK(s) When above completes the apk will be available in MobiledgeXSDKDemo/app/build/intermediates/apk/debug/EdgeXRSDKDemo-debug.apk
